This filter looks for long strings and creates #defines for them. But it doesn't know much about C syntax, in particular it tries to abbreviate words inside strings. It's fun though to run it on long text files; they are surprisingly readable once you get used to the particular abbreviations chosen. (Try the GNU GPL!)
